Positive Neuroplasticity Training

Twelve-Week Live-Online Course: Positive Neuroplasticity (April 10 – June 26, 2025)

“The best way to achieve greater happiness and inner strength is to deliberately cultivate positive experiences. In this way, pleasant mental states can turn into deeply rooted neural structures. This is precisely what I mean when I talk about taking in the good: activating positive experiences and anchoring them firmly in the brain.”

Dr. Rick Hanson

Recent neuroscience findings confirm that our thoughts, feelings, and experiences shape the structure of our brains. Therefore, we can intentionally engage our minds to change our brains and lay the foundation for a more rewarding and enjoyable life.

Positive neuroplasticity focuses on cultivating beneficial states of mind and learning how to turn simple, everyday experiences into inner strengths. These strengths include resilience, trust, inner safety, compassion, agency, gratitude,e and feelings of being liked. Mindful internalization of such psychological resources can help us deal with stress, anxiety, suffering, depression, anger, frustration, loss, and loneliness – and supports well-being, self-esteem, fulfilling relationships, emotional healing, and spiritual practice.

Positive Neuroplasticity Training was developed by Dr. Rick Hanson and allows you to deliberately influence the formation of neural networks (in your brain) to transform temporary beneficial states into permanent traits. You will learn how to activate and intensify positive experiences so that they become increasingly embedded in your emotional memory.

The training in positive neuroplasticity is particularly suitable for people who wish to:

  • Build inner strengths and resources;
  • Transform positive mental states into lasting (neuronal) traits;
  • Alleviate or resolve recurring distressing experiences through beneficial experiences;
  • Face growing challenges in their lives with equanimity and confidence;
  • Deepen mindfulness and self-compassion;
  • Increase their resilience.

Participants Experience

It’s amazing how ongoing practice can lead to unexpected moments of positive experience in everyday life.

Conny

It was a remarkable experience to realize that I can feel safe and content in the present moment and that there is no need to worry about my safety. Another remarkable experience occurred recently when a good friend expressed to me how much I meant to her. I allowed this feeling to expand within me and it became an ocean of benevolence and joy. I feel that this experience has left a lasting change in me.

Ulrike

It is gratifying to see that the practices allow me to access the beneficial feelings associated with positive experiences with relative ease.
